about me
Call me Luisa! I'm a freelance bilingual writer who speaks Spanish and English, and I can also hold a conversation about futebol in Portuguese. I earned my BS in Psychology from the Universidad Arturo Michelena in Venezuela, my home country. My interest in behavior is backed up by a certificate from Instituto Terapéutico de Madrid (ITEMA, Spain) on Functional Analysis of Behavior and a Specialized Program in Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (CBT) from Educa Psicología (Venezuela).
I started reading when I was 4 years old thanks to my grandparents' interest in local newspapers, and since then, I've had a life surrounded by words and culture. You can find my contributions in digital publications such as Her Agenda, Latino Leaders Magazine, Reader's Digest UK, Business Insider, or Mitú Magazine.
Currently, I work for a startup company in Vermont called Widewail as a Review Response Specialist in the Advertising & Marketing industry. I am also the co-founder of Hermanas Vermont, a local socialization and networking group for Latinas in Vermont.
